As part of a developing relationship with a key client, a search was commenced on a retained basis to find an appointee with an abundance of potential to take up the position of Central Compliance Officer. The oneness of the search was finding someone who could grow with the business and oversee the internal regulatory changes that would be integral to the strategic change plan of our client. From start to finish, extensive research was conducted with accuracy and efficiency to minimise the exposure of our clients restructure plans and becoming market knowledge. Through a very established relationship with one of our biggest clients, Ogilvie Search was able to recognise and consult on potential candidates that will provide growth to the business's advisory practice. As part of our entrepreneurial efforts to place candidates in the market place, we introduced and brokered the relationship between client and candidate, to deliver a newly created position of a client-facing Director for the Retail Practice.

Ogilvie Search were approached by a leading Blue Chip Banking Organisation to conduct a retained search of the market and identify an individual with a specific profile and skill set who would prove to be instrumental as part of a company-wide change programme. It was imperative to find an individual that could harmonise with the business and the newly established environment and culture, to successfully integrate and embed regulatory changes to Front Office systems and processes.

Through using our proven search techniques to find talented individuals, a Senior Appointment was made who has added significant value to our clients business since.


Position:Banking Code Specialist
Client:Global Blue Chip Banking Organisation
 
Our brief was to find a dynamic Banking Code specialist with excellent communication skills to join the Compliance team of their Retail Banking Division.

Ogilvie Search conducted a research exercise of the market and advised on potential candidate suited to their expectations and work culture. Having identified our client's competitors and potential candidates through market maps and search methodologies a strategic exercise of headhunting and vetting candidates was actioned.

As part of the process all candidates, identified with skill sets and profiles in line with our clients criteria, were personally interviewed and vetted until a final short list was composed and presented to the client.

Following the presentation all three candidates were invited to attend an interview. The successful candidate started less than 2 months after the brief was received.
